Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we do with it, and the rights you have. We built Listcrawler with privacy in mind — no accounts, no profiles, no selling data. This page explains the details.

Effective: April 1, 2026 Last updated: April 2026

The short version

Listcrawler has no user accounts, no profile tracking, and no advertising cookies. We collect minimal technical data needed to run the site (like IP addresses in server logs), we never sell your data, and we never share it with marketers. Read on for the full details.

This Privacy Policy explains how Listcrawler LLC ("Listcrawler", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit listcrawler.llc (the "Service"). It applies to all visitors to the Service. If you don't agree with this policy, please don't use the Service.

1

Information We Collect

Because we don't offer user accounts, we collect very little personal information. The data we do collect falls into two categories:

Automatically collected technical data. When you visit the Service, our servers automatically record standard technical information that web servers typically log, including:

  • Your IP address.
  • Your browser type and version, and operating system.
  • The pages you visit and the date and time of your visit.
  • The referring URL (the site that sent you to us, if any).
  • General geographic location derived from your IP (country / region level).

Information you voluntarily provide. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this information only to respond to you.

2

How We Use Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, spam, and security incidents.
  • To generate aggregate, anonymous analytics about site usage.
  • To respond to your emails or support requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build behavioral profiles, and we do not sell your information to anyone. Ever.

3

Cookies & Tracking

We use a small number of functional cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service to work. These cookies remember minor preferences (like which filter you selected on a city page) and help us detect automated abuse. They don't track you across other websites.

We do not use:

  • Third-party advertising cookies.
  • Cross-site tracking pixels.
  • Behavioral profiling or retargeting tools.
  • Social media share buttons that phone home.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Service may not work correctly if you do.

4

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the limited circumstances described below:

  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors for hosting, content delivery, and security (e.g., our hosting provider and CDN). These vendors only process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.
  • Legal compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Listcrawler, our users, or the public.
  • Safety and abuse investigations. If we receive a report involving potential harm to minors, human trafficking, or serious criminal activity, we may share relevant information with NCMEC, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities.
5

Third-Party Sites

Listcrawler aggregates links to third-party websites. When you click a listing, you may leave our site and be sent to a third-party destination. Those sites have their own privacy policies and practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

6

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. The Service uses HTTPS encryption, and access to server logs is restricted to authorized personnel.

That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to take your own precautions when using the internet.

7

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Right to access. You can ask us whether we hold any personal information about you and request a copy.
  • Right to deletion. You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Right to correction. You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Right to opt out of sale. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of — but your right is respected by default.

Because we don't have user accounts, the primary information we hold about any individual visitor is contained in server logs, which are automatically deleted on a rolling basis. To exercise any of the rights above, email privacy@listcrawler.llc. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, or another region with specific privacy laws (such as GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights. We honor all applicable legal rights regardless of where you live.

8

Children's Privacy

Listcrawler is strictly for adults and is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it as quickly as possible. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@listcrawler.llc immediately.

9

Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Specifically:

  • Server logs are retained for approximately 30-90 days and then automatically deleted.
  • Abuse reports and legal correspondence are retained for as long as needed to handle the issue and meet any legal obligations.
  • Email support correspondence is retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
10

International Users

Listcrawler is based in the United States. If you visit the Service from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may be different from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. For material changes, we'll provide a more prominent notice when possible. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
